Description

This Mix-Ready template includes over 70 pre-mixed tracks for drums, bass, guitars, synths, FX and vocals. 

Two versions included: I challenged myself to create this mix with as many free plugins as possible. I've spent a lot of time searching and testing good plugin alternatives to the expensive plugins like FabFilter Pro-Q, Saturn 2, AutoTune etc.

So now: only the MixWave drums, Gojira X amp sim and the JST Gain Reduction compressor are paid - the rest is all free and stock plugins.

Addionally, I've added an enhanced version of the template, which is using Soothe 2, Saturn 2, Flatline II and Gullfoss.

I am a huge fan of Sleep Token and their sound, so I am very happy to share this template with you and I hope you will enjoy working with it!

I really wanted this Sleep Token template to include vocal tracks, even though I am not really a singer (and obviously not even close to Vessel). Still, I tried my best to do the song justice and catch the vibe of it.

The screams / growls at the end of the demo song aren't even real screams - they are basically low volume "noises" that sound big with the right processing. For my next templates I will reach out to better vocalists than me for the screams and growls (I've watched countless tutorials, but I can't do vocal fry or false chords).

in case you are wondering - I didn't cover the whole song, because it would have taken me ages to learn all the riffs and record them properly. Yeah I know, it would have been cool to include the "sexy part" haha!

The guitar DIs were recorded with Bareknuckle Polymath pickups. The bass DI is taken from the Djinnbass II virtual bass. The drum MIDI is a mix of the studio version and what II plays live. He adds some nice fill-ins in his live performances - so I added them to the drum MIDI.
