Description

A monumental sound for fast riffs, modern clean vocals and crushing scream vocals. 

The Mix-Ready "Monuments" template includes over 70 Mix-Ready tracks for drums, bass, guitars, synth, FX and above all - vocals! The huge vocal arrangement was recorded by my friend Gonzalo Viviani . It includes tracks for cleans, doubles, harmonys, choir and screamed vocals.

The instrumental cover of "Cardinal Red" by Monuments was recorded by my dude João Medeiros. He did an incredible job with these DI tracks and so it was a lot of fun mixing the song.

The drum kit in this mix is the RS Drums Monarch kit. I wanted to create a drum mix with these drums for a while, and now was the perfect moment. Those drums are very versatile and can be shaped in a lot of ways, just using the built-in FX. The raw samples sound amazing and the included One-Shot samples really help the drums to cut through a dense mix.

Return of a classic: Neural DSP Parallax X for the bass sound. You can use a real bass guitar or MIDI bass with the plugin chain that I set up for you.

For guitars I went with the infamous Neural DSP Archetype Nolly X amp sim. I dialed in the overdrive and amp gain just enough to still retain the clarity and note definition that is needed for riffs like Monuments. However, if you want to replace the amp sims (or any other plugin) feel free to send me an email and we can talk about a customization.
